*ahem* Name and address. Timothy Smith. 8830 District D. You have great talent. You’ll go far. Thank you, sir. You have great talent. You’ll go far. Really? My name is Timothy Smith and I’m going to build a train. Not just any train. An old-fashioned steam engine. This is not just my career, this is my dream. Day one. I began building. I started receiving parts and began constructing the wheels and base for the steam engine. It feels good to be working hard. Day 2. I continued work on the steam engine and completed it at around nine o’clock. Project is picking up pace. Day 3. I received parts for the coal tender and assembled it as fast as possible. I was pretty tired by the end of the day but it looked amazing when it was done. Day 4. I began work on the first passenger car. Stacy showed up today. I like Stacy, but she was kind of annoying today. She kept asking me if I wanted to go see the land outside the city or something like that. I told her I was busy. I need to keep my priorities straight, cause I have to finish for the convention deadline. Day 5. I stayed up all night to complete the first passenger car. Day 7. The green car is finally done. I attached all of the windows… Day 8… boost… I built the… …boxcar… side walls… day 13… …I’m just about to get this done. Day 15. Finished. Hey Tim! Hey Stacy. Wow… is this worth it? Is it worth what? Well, the long days and the late nights… and being too busy to say hi to people… Oh yeah, definitely! Just look at this! People are gonna love it. And love you. Well yeah, I guess, but… Isn’t that the point of doing something like this? Need a good start to my career. Got one shot. So your life depends on this? Basically, it’s my dream! It’s a pretty fragile thing to depend on. What? Tim, nothing down here lasts. Fame, fortune, whatever. It’s all gone like smoke. But up above, there’s a place where everything is beautiful and things are different. Well that’s lovely thinking, Stacy, but I’ve heard enough about the outside. There’s nothing out there, that’s why they built these walls around us! I’ve got to focus on real life here. But you don’t know what real life is like. See ya Stacy! I’ve got a dream to catch! But Tim… Hey Tim… hey Tim, wait! Is this important? Look out, here I come, people! District E, here we are. Slow down a little bit… Come on, slow down, slow down! Oh no. Oh man… oh no… Somebody help me! Hey Tim. Hey Stacy. It’s amazing that you’re alive. Well, my dream’s dead, but Yeah. Yeah, it is amazing. Hey, um… you were right. About the outside? It’s beautiful, isn’t it. Yeah. You know, out there, it’s not about you or your dreams. It’s about the people you meet and the creator who has a plan for you. That’s where the real love is, where the light is. I want to go back. But how? The subway is stopped, and your train is broken. I can build our ride. Real fast. You think so? Yeah. Alright, let’s do this. Introducing Mr. Tony’s revolutionary design, the supreme bike! Woah! Oh thank you, thank you. Oh my gosh, he’s a genius!
